Both our Tiny Tot's Choir and Primary Choral Group gave splendid performances at the recent Border District Eisteddfod and received praise from the highly experienced adjudicators for both their singing and their presentation on stage.
Our Tiny Tot's Choir, consisting of our Prep and Year One students, delighted the audience with their bright smiles, excellent presentation as a group and of course their particularly beautiful singing of Mr Echidna, Mr Sun. For their efforts, they were awarded with Third Prize!
Adding to our school's great pride, our Primary Choral group, featuring our Year 4 - Year 6 students, sung brilliantly, performing Saltwater, Down Town with impressive diction and lovely smiles on their faces. They were very worthy winners of the Highly Commended Award!
We greatly appreciate the guidance of our visiting music teacher, Mrs Waites, whom ensured our students were feeling prepared, stage ready and able to give their very best on the day.
